Day 61:

As I lay in the woods today staring at the lush blue sky through the gap in the trees, I concentrated on my breathing and really took some time to think about how lucky I am. I have an amazing little family and they really make me smile. The last 60 or so days have been a rollercoaster of emotions and although we're still here in the midst of this madness, we're still smiling and that's so important.

"Life is full of banana skins. You slip, you carry on."

Day 9:

If it makes us smile then we need to hold on to it and that is so much more true during these strange times. This photo is really making Opeie smile at the moment so as far as Im concerned it is the most important picture in my phone.

I always put the important things first, the people I care about will always be my main priority. You don't know how long your going to get with these people so you should cherish the time you do have.

It's probably a gloomy way to start a post and its not usually how I come across but as I sit in a hospital waiting area with a family member it makes me realise even more how special this life is. Thankfully there's no negativity surrounding this visit, it's the aftermath of what has been and gone, but sitting here just makes me realise how happy I am with Mrs M and the boys. I feel so lucky to have people that care about me and I will never take that for granted.
