"My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue, an everlasting vision of the ever changing view."

Inspired by our recent house sitting weekend at our friend Chris' i spotted a framed picture in his bedroom. He writes over at Gingerjamphoto and last year he started a 52 week project taking a photograph each week of the year, I followed the project through the year but it wasn't until I saw the framed picture with all 52 images in that it gave me an idea.

I decided I'd have a go at the project myself but being a huge LEGO fan I thought i would use the minifigures of us and see what Adventures we could get up to. This weekend gave us a great excuse to start the project and hopefully I'll be able to keep up with it weekly. So here's week one, our London trip and the day we met queen Elizabeth II.

"His passion for his boys and the family is both infectious and inspiring"

Last week i was contacted by my friends over at 'It's My Generation', if your a regular reader you may remember that they kindly put us in the top 5 dad bloggers in an article they wrote and are fans of the blog. They wrote some really great things about the blog and the admiration i have for my family. This time round they were writing a parenting article to the parents of the countries most recent edition to the royals, titled 'Wills and Kate: Parenting the Prince', a kind of what to expect now that your child is here. As i love talking about parenting (it controls everything i do) i was happy to give them my input.
