"A slug is always on its own. It's a lonely insect."

I'm two weeks behind on my weekly LEGO project photo's, i seem to have so many other things going on with Seth being off school, not to mention them both being ill on and off and Seth now having Tonsilitis. I decided to use a picture i took a couple of weeks ago when i saw a slug making its way across our path outside.

Poor Mrs M slimed by a big fat slug, enjoy...

"Cause I just done me some talking to the sun And I said I didn't like the way he got things done Sleeping on the job Oh, raindrops keep fallin' on my head Keep a-fallin"

It's week two of our year long (if i can keep it up) project inspired by our friend Chris over at Gingerjamphoto and this weekend so far has been pretty grim. We spent the morning in due to the heavy rain and our failed attempts of afternoon skateboarding were quickly stopped thanks to thunder and lightening, good old British weather.

So this weeks LEGO picture is a homage to our drizzly day. Typical though that as we left our visit from Auntie Lottie's this evening to head home the sun can out and we had a couple of hours of scorching weather, lets hope that tomorrow shows us a bit of that glorious sunshine.

"My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue, an everlasting vision of the ever changing view."

Inspired by our recent house sitting weekend at our friend Chris' i spotted a framed picture in his bedroom. He writes over at Gingerjamphoto and last year he started a 52 week project taking a photograph each week of the year, I followed the project through the year but it wasn't until I saw the framed picture with all 52 images in that it gave me an idea.

I decided I'd have a go at the project myself but being a huge LEGO fan I thought i would use the minifigures of us and see what Adventures we could get up to. This weekend gave us a great excuse to start the project and hopefully I'll be able to keep up with it weekly. So here's week one, our London trip and the day we met queen Elizabeth II.
