"You know what's about to happen. Do you really wanna punch your wayout of this?"

With the release of Captain America Civil war a couple of weeks back, (which I am still yet to watch, grrr...! I have however read all of Civil War and it was truly amazing), Me and the boys went through our usual pre-superhero movie release routine and went window shopping online for the awesome products tied into the movie. The Disney store (as expected) had an awesome selection of products, everything a budding superhero could possibly need. The product that caught our attention the most though we're the Iron man gauntlet gloves and they were a definite must for the boys superhero armoury.

When they arrived, Opeie instantly dropped what he was doing and ran upstairs to grab his iron man mask for full effect. Then, of course, it was time to do battle. I'm so jealous of the superhero toys available these days, I'd have been in my element as a child being able to have Iron Mans gloves (even though I am definitely team cap). The gloves have light-up repulsors on the palms and shoot out rockets... AWESOME! The only negative about these gloves (and it's a big one!) is that they don't fit me! Come on Disney store, you must know that when the kids have gone to bed we're sitting watching the movies wearing this stuff, or maybe that is just me.

There are so many great civil war products to choose from and we've now got our eye on the Captain America and Black Panther masks to go with the boys collections.

If Iron Man's Gauntlet gloves aren't exciting enough (come on, you know they are), the boys also have the Civil war Deluxe figurine play set waiting for a rainy day stuck indoors. Which if the last two days is anything to go by maybe very soon. The set includes Captain America and Iron man (of course), Vision, Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Ant-man, Black panther, Falcon and War Machine. So I love forward to battling with those very soon.

"The power of imagination makes us infinite"

We've been out a lot over the last few months visiting different places and adventuring. Sometimes I feel like we don't spend as much time at home as we should. The evenings are our down time though and that's when we do most of our gaming. There has been a few games keeping Seth occupied during his gaming time recently but for Opeie there is only one he is interested in playing.

Disney infinity 3.0 has got to be the most played game in our home and with the enormous selection of Disney characters to choose from spanning over decades of those movies we all love in some way, I can definitely see the appeal.

After buying Opeie the inside out level pack he was even more hooked and eager to get his hands on the remaining three characters. Since Christmas though I have been more aware of the amount of cool stuff that the boys receive through the blog and I don't want them to forget what is important, so we have set up games and tasks and Opeie had to earn them through fun tasks and activities. The great thing about this was that not only did he get something that he really wanted but that he was full of pride for achieving each one, Go Opeie!

Disgust, Anger and Sadness are a great addition to the Inside out levels. With each character having a different ability or skill, having the other characters to play with makes progressing through the levels that little bit smoother.

Disney Infinity is going to be about for some time, that's clear! It's lovely to have something that me and Opeie can sit and play together and I really believe that our co-op strategic playing together adds another level to our awesome relationship. Since earning these too Opeie was bought the recent Hulkbuster character on a shopping trip with Nanny Roo too which is one of my favourites to play with. With Opeie's birthday just around the corner he now has his eyes on Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia and I wouldn't mind getting my hands on Vision and Ant-man, Awesome!!!

"Alright squaddies, time to hero up!"

When i first started writing the blog i planned on it mainly being about toys and what me and the boys collect but as time has gone on its become a lot more personal and although i do write about toys on many of the posts there is a lot of posts about the general things that we get up to. A few of the earlier post were taken up by a collection i started for Opeie before he was even here with us. I'm a huge Marvel fan and on finding out about the Super Hero Squad range and how many characters there were available i knew i wanted to start collecting them for that boy of mine.

It's been over two years now but for the last 6 months i hadn't brought anything to go with the collection. To be fair they have been in a sealed crate and basically i had forgotten about them... that is until last week when i decided to have a look on eBay and noticed that quite a few had been listed (strange because apart from the 3 special Amazing Spider-man boxes and the 3 Avengers boxes they haven't released any for a while). I purchased 2 boxes but that afternoon i realised why they had re surfaced on eBay. I had popped in to our local B&M to buy some tea light candles and as usual i had a quick look in the toy isle and there staring back at me were a couple of boxes i needed for my collection.

Obviously i made the most of my find and as i was writing a post about them i thought i would also include the pictures from all of my previous posts. I wanted to get them out of the crate and retake the photos but the boys don't know about them and i didn't want to risk them being seen. These are this weeks purchase...

Finding these has really catapulted me back in to my collection and ive been looking on eBay every day since. I'm still desperate to get hold of the three Avengers boxes from the movie but no luck yet. The main problem is that many of the waves of figures that were released were not released in the UK (story of my life!) the US gets all the best toys. Ill start the pictures with the three Amazing spider-man boxes from the movie...

Rather than just waffle on about them as I'm sure that might just come across a little boring here is the photos from the rest of my collection and the previous posts. I really hope that Opeie continues to be into super heroes or these are just going to end up sealed in that crate until i get my own room for my toys.
